Harvey “Dickie” Combs, 68, of Prestonsburg, passed away on May 10 at his residence.
He was a surface mine superintendent and the son of the late Buck Combs and the late Martha Harvey Combs, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Hargis Combs, and sister Janice Varee Combs.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Combs; son John Thomas Combs and wife Terra; daughter Juda C. Wells and husband J.J.; sister Juda Ranier; brothers Paul Combs and wife Shirley, Roger Combs and wife Andrell and Rick Morgan and wife Vickie, along with great-grandchild J.D. Wells.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the services were held on Monday, May 14 with Judy Carr-Back officiating. Interment was at Resthaven Cemetery at Jeff.
