Manda Williams, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 27 at her home in Christopher.

She was born August 24, 1925 in Harlan County, the daughter of the late Carter Lewis and the late Nancy Sparkman Lewis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Williams, and brother Curt Lewis.

She is survived by sons Floyd Williams, Jr. and Chris of Christopher, Howard Williams and wife Virginia of Jeff, Harold Williams and wife Judy of Hazard, Tommy Williams and wife Beverly of Barbourville, and Eddie Williams and wife Vickie of Christopher; daughters Betty Woods of Christopher, Barbara Hatton and husband Darrell of Tallahassee, Florida, Pat Williams of Christopher, Gail Caldwell of Slemp and Donna Moore and husband Ernie of Christopher; sister Isabelle Smith of Totz, Ky., along with 18 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Manda Williams will be conducted on Saturday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at the New Hope Christian Center in Hazard with Mike Barnett officiating. The entombment will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be at the New Hope Christian Center on Friday evening starting at 6 p.m.

Arrangements were handled by Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard.
