Barbara Franks, 71, of Hazard, passed away on Saturday, July 28 at the Hazard ARH medical center in Hazard.
She was the daughter of the late Herbert Raymond Campbell, Sr. and the late Ollie M. (Maloney) Campbell.
She is survived by her husband, Oscar Coleman Franks; daughters Tamayra Dawne Franks of Hazard and Lori Blake of Covington; sister Margaret Loise Connley of Union, Ky., brother Herbert Raymond Campbell, Jr. of Lexington, along with four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Brothers Funeral Home of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1 with Roger Combs officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff.
