Dwayne Jones, 57, passed away on Friday, July 27 at his home in Rowdy.

He was born on May 1, 1955 to the late Carlene Jones and Eddie Jones, and is also preceded in death by his nephew, Randall Patterson.

He is survived by his mother, Eddie Jones of Lost Creek; sons Robert “Bobby” Jones and Christopher Jones, both of Dayton, Ohio; brother Roy Jones and wife Mona of Rowdy; sister Martina Patterson of Lost Creek, along with grandchildren Tawny, Heaven, Christopher and Clayton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday July 30 with Travis France and Jamie Bowling officiating at the Don Blair Memorial Church located on Upper Lost Creek Road. Burial took place at the Patterson Family Cemetery Located at Rowdy.

Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard was in charge of arrangements.
