Koehler Combs, 81, passed away on Friday, July 27 at the Hazard ARH medical center.
He was born on May 9, 1931 in Perry County to the late Buck and Susan Combs, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Denver Combs.
He is survived by brothers Bruce Combs and wife Winnie of Leitchfield, Kentucky, and Henderson Combs and wife Haydee of Grover Beach, California; sisters Avis Irvin and husband Bill of Louisville, Rachel Harris and husband Stanley, and Jenny Harris and husband Wendell, both of Stanton, Ky., along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 30 with Estill Sizemore officiating at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home of Hazard. The Buck Combs Cemetery located at Acup was the place of burial.
