Barbara Jean Hall, 48, died Sunday, Dec. 23 at her home in Sassafras.
She was the daughter of the late John Lee Wells, Sr. and the late Corrine Rice Wells, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Angela Wells Short, and brother Joel Mark Wells.
She is survived by her husband, James Hall; daughter Candice Hall, Fallon Hall, and Cortney Hall; son Conner Hall; sisters Tammy Shockey, Tina Pelfrey, Valarie McIntyre, Pam Brewer, Dell Ritchie, and Aundrea Cole; brothers John Lee Wells, Jr., Bobby Wells, Timothy Wells, Dickie Wells, and Eric Wells; seven grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Maggard Mountain View Chapel of Hazard, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 26. Services will immediately follow with Rev. Densmore Goodson officiating. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery in Jeff.
